Greetings from Japan???? There was a medical emergency 30 minutes into
our flight from Detroit to Tokyo. Therefore, we had to turn around and
land in Minnesota. This delayed our arrival into Tokyo by 4 hours! We
missed our connection to Beijing!
We were blessed to meet many
other couples that are also adopting from China (and one couple
adopting from Korea)! The family sitting right in front of us is with
our Holt group! We have all stayed together and enjoyed our night at
the Ana hotel in Tokyo.
It is about 9:30AM here on Nov. 30th.
We are sitting in the airport waiting for our 10:45 flight to Beijing.
We think the flight is about 4 hours. We are hoping that we may still
get a chance to see the Great Wall, but if not at least we can say that
we have been to Japan!
P.S. We dropped off our Christmas lists when we flew over the North Pole!

We are on absolute pins and needles at McEachern - keep us posted!!! Santa has a great big present waiting for you guys, just be patient and bring her home safe. Our nursery is waiting with lots of love.

I got tears in my eyes just reading about your trip to Japan! I am so beyond excited for the next few days! You are in my prayers! I can't wait to see pictures of you guys holding YOUR baby girl! Wow.
